Acting & Voice Classes

Gaining confidence onstage and in front of groups is a vital skill for children and young adults. Being able to stand in front of a crowd and speak or sing confidently not only allows them to prepare for a lifetime of fun in the performing arts, it can help develop skills necessary for public speaking, job interviews, and more.

At Dance Unlimited, we aim to help children and teens expand their skills in vocal and performing arts through weekly instruction, exercises, and games. All voice and acting classes perform in a spring recital to showcase their skills.

Acting Classes at Dance Unlimited

Students in our Acting Classes, under the direction of Susan Thornton, play theater games, learn theater terms, work on vocal and concentration skills, and learn new theater methods.

Acting classes are taught in five levels and are open to children aged 5-17.

Voice Lessons at Dance Unlimited

Through our Group Voice Lessons, students aged 9-18 learn breathing, posture, diction, and tone quality while working to expand their singing range. In addition to the spring recital, vocal students participate in at least one Studio Showcase each year.
