Flitterific Fairy Adventure

Rock-A-Hula Mini Dance Camp
Age: 3 to 6
Date: Mon June 25 to Fri June 29
Time: 10:00am – 12:00pm
This tropical themed camp will include a festive luau, themed crafts, water activities, hula and other creative dance. Each dancer receives a special themed gift to take home.
Dance Intensive
Age: 7 and up
Dates:  Mon July 2 to Fri July 6  AND/OR
           Mon August 6 to Fri August 10
Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm

    This week's schedule is packed with classes divided by ability and age (first day placement).  These one-week sessions focus on technical training in ballet, modern, lyrical, jazz, tap, and theater dance.  Additional classes are offered in pilates, yoga, hip hop, improvisation, and performance techniques.  The July session will culminate in a student showcase on the evening of Friday July 6th (the August session will not include an end of the week performance).

  This challenging curriculum gives each participant the opportunity to work on individually determined objectives in a supportive and creative environment. Dance intensives are designed to encourage self-discipline, creative thinking and the healthy dancer lifestyle.

    Participants will join the Dance Unlimited Staff and special guest teachers and other specialists for a week of great instruction.

Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs
Age: 4 - 6
Date: Mon August 6 to Fri August 17
Time: 10:00am – 12:00pm

    An introduction to musical theatre for young actors. Students will learn basic theatre terms through theatre games and they will rehearse and present a final performance that includes a song and dance.

Cinderella
Age: 7 - 12
Date: Mon July 16 to Fri July 27
Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm

    Students will learn theatre terms and skills while rehearsing and creating costumes, sets and props for a final performance.

You're a Good Man Charlie Brown
Age: 13 - 18
Date: Mon June 18  to Fri June 29
Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm

    Students will work on auditioning, singing, dancing and acting skills while rehearsing a final musical performance with characters written for them.

Evening Classes
This summer, DU will be offering several evening classes:

  • Ballet Intensive
(ages 9 to 18 ; two level classes ; placement determined on the first night of class)
Tuesdays starting July 10 (6 weeks ending August 14)   6:45 - 8:00  
$110 for full session / $20 single class

  • Adult Tap & Jazz
     (2 seperate 45min classes)
Wednesdays starting June 20 (8 weeks ending August 8) Tap 7:00-7:45 / Jazz 7:45-8:30  
$120 for both classes, 8 weeks / $75 for one style class, 8 weeks / $12 for a single 45min class

  • Sample Session
     (for completed grades 1-5)
3 weeks Lyrical (June 19 - July3), 3 weeks Hip Hop (July 10 - July 24), 3 weeks Gymnastics (July 31 - August 14)
